Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce

The Barnwell Chamber of Commerce is the central point of contact for resources, which aid and assist all county organization in being successful and improving the quality of life for citizens of Barnwell County.

The Barnwell County Chamber of Commerce serves each member of the community and is dedicated to helping the business community and county prosper and grow.

It works toward the common good of the county. In conjunction with other agencies and groups, the Chamber assists in meeting the needs and goals of business and industry.

In response to community and business needs, the chamber provides a variety of services to educate and promote a positive business climate.

The Chamber sponsors the Annual Chamber Banquet, Business After Hours and co-sponsors the Hooked on Fishing Rodeo. The Chamber of Commerce Award Program recognizes the Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year and the Community Service Person/Group of the Year.

The Chamber provides leadership development by sponsoring the Barnwell County Leadership Program.
The Chamber Business After Hours are held quarterly each year. Either a chamber member, business or several businesses co-sponsor the event.

Business After Hours is a time in a social setting for the business community to come together to mingle and discuss topics of interest. It is a chance for the sponsor/ sponsors to showcase their business or industry. This event may be held at their place of business or at local business facilities. Door prizes are awarded at each event.

The Chamber utilizes this event to promote the business hosting the event. It also allows any new business an opportunity to introduce themselves and their respective business.

Non-chamber members are also invited so they can become familiar with chamber activities.
